INFINITY , CREATIVITY
Project 1: Disability Experience Pavilion
Brief: In a group of 3, we are required to design a Disabilities Experience Pavilion that is meant to serve as a small recreational space in a hypothetical park for people with disabilities. Then, choose the type of disability and demonstrate some investigation into the spatial needs of the chosen group of users where it allows them to participate in a set of recreational activities.
Outcome: A compilation of an A1-sized landscape poster which includes intention collages/sketches illustrating the design process, detail section at 1:25 scale, axonometric assembly drawing at an appropriate scale, perspective images of the pavilion in use with a sense of scale and materiality, investigation into the spatial needs of the chosen group of users, plan/section/elevation (minimum of one each) at 1:50 scale as well as physical 1:50 scale explorative models (minimum of 3) testing out the ideas in three dimensions.
SELF REFLECTION
DURING THE PROGRESS IN COMPLETING THIS PROJECT, WE WERE QUITE LOSS AND STRUGGLED IN FINDING IDEAS TO DEVELOP THE MODEL BUT IT WAS GLAD TO HAVE PROACTIVE GROUP MEMBERS TO ASK PEERS FOR FEEDBACKS FOR IMPROVEMENTS. BESIDES, TIME MANAGEMENT AND INDIVIDUAL PROGRESSIONS ARE ONE OF THE IMPORTANT ASPECTS IN MAKING SURE THAT OUR PROGRESS FLOW AS WHAT WE WANT SINCE WE HAVE SLOWLY START TO ADAPT INTO THIS "NEW NORMAL" LIFE WHEREBY CONTINGENCY PLAN IS NEEDED IN ANY TIME . HOWEVER, WE MANAGED TO COMPLETE IT WITHIN THE AMOUNT OF TIME GIVEN
