The different events can be witnessed in Nansha Bird Park for each season. During the spring season, users get to see the blossoming of flowers, new bird nests in trees, and, the return of migrating birds; in the summer season, lotuses will cover the lake and flocks of birds around the area; shadow of mangroves, autumn winds, and autumn trees leave the coloring to happen around the autumn season; lastly, on winter, the user gets to experience the migratory bird watching, rare spoonbills and long-legged snipes will appear. Users can embrace the great nature and encounter the heavenly scenic view of Nansha Bird Park as the design frames views towards the adjacent lake. Blooming Nest provides a creative composition of oval shape plaids that can be utilized allowing users to go up to view nesting spots and the lake from a higher point or sit on it. Conceptually, the Blooming Nest is an exploration of the "half pavilion" which exposes the structural structures that distinguish between inside and outside quality. Bamboo nesting poles are erected at the center by each pole features a nesting hole carved out the form from bamboo. The planter box is below where guano is utilized to fertilize the plants. Excess water from the soil will seep into the water collector which acts as a water bowl for the birds. Finally, the structure is enveloped by a bamboo shell covered by a lotus root-inspired façade.
