Project 1: Comparative Case Studies Poster & Booklet

Brief: In a group of 5-6, select two case studies on the implementation of passive sustainable design principles within an architectural project, one from a tropical climate region and one from another climate zone (Arid, Mediterranean, Temperate Continental, Polar). Each group must identify and compare the passive design methods used in both case studies, including site planning, daylighting, façade design, natural ventilation, strategic planting, and other active green design initiatives. Examine and expound on the influence of these passive tactics on the quality and spatial experience of the selected project.

Outcome: An A2 infographic poster and an A4 portrait booklet of a minimum of 20 pages to a maximum of 25 pages consisting of written text, diagrams, sketches, drawings, and images.
