Project 1: Case Study Analysis and Awareness

Brief:
i) In groups of 5, we did some analysis, findings and researches for four case studies of heritage conservation projects of a small to medium size buildings. The projects comprised of three international projects and one local project in which one of the project should be a postmodern building. We are also required to give an overall conclusion and outcome analysis of the group case study focusing on the conservation methods, theories, and practices.
ii) Individually, we are required to discuss and tabulate our thoughts on "appreciation, awareness and importance of architectural heritage and conservation" through one of the 7 Lamps of Architecture principles focused on one of the buildings from the group case study. 

Outcome: An estimate of 40 - 50 slide presentation report and recorded online slide presentation report.

SELF REFLECTION

Through this assessment, we had gained extra knowledge on the researched buildings and also the principles from the charters that had thought us the rules and regulations to follow while preserving the old heritage buildings. Besides, personally I have learnt from seniors on time management by prioritizing the important tasks of my own. Having a conflict between group members while doing the project is a typical situation but we manage to perform well under pressure and nailed the presentation.
